Virtual Workshop with John Paval

Alyssa’s leadership class had the exciting opportunity today to connect with John Paval, a speaking consultant based in Stockholm, for a workshop on leadership.

He engaged them in an active workshop to help them develop presentation practices — focusing both on vocal delivery and embodied rhetoric — to help them to more persuasively convey to others “what they stand for.”

From a technical standpoint, it was an extra interesting workshop in that we piloted using Skype and google docs exclusively (instead of marratech) for our connection.

As always, John did a brilliant job of engaging and educating the students, even across an ocean and myriad internet pathways.
